PS Plus Games For April 2021 Announced

The free PS Plus Games for April have been announced, and these are three that should not be missed. For those with a Playstation 5, April’s free gift is Oddworld: Soulstorm, the latest entry into the Oddworld series from developers Oddworld Inhabitants. Soulstorm will be arriving on the PS4 too, but not as a part of any PS Plus subscription, and will be available on PC too.

Serving as a follow-up to 2014’s Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, and a revamped take on the original Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus, players play as Abe, whose objective is to complete puzzles, manoeuvre through side-scrolling spaces and prevent the Mudokons from becoming slave labour.

From Bend Studio, the developers of both Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Uncharted: Fight for Fortune on the PS Vita, comes Days Gone, a post-apocalyptic zombie horror game set two years after a global pandemic.

Players assume the role of former outlaw Deacon St. John, who embarks on a mission to find his wife Sarah while navigating a world overrun by cannibalistic creatures known as Freakers, and other hostile survivors. Days Gone is a game that focuses on fighting through zombie hordes and motorcycle maintenance in equal measure.

The final game free on PS Plus this month is Zombie Army 4: Dead War, the follow-up to 2015’s Zombie Army Trilogy. It’s 1946, one year after the fall of Hitler and the end of World War 2. From the creative minds behind Sniper Elite 4, occult forces summon an undead Nazi army from Hell. Missions can be attempted in co-op or single-player modes. These three titles will be available to download from Tuesday, April 6 to Monday, May 3.

As a final reminder, March’s free PS Plus titles will be available until April 5, including Final Fantasy VII Remake and Remnant: From The Ashes for PS4, and Maquette on the PS5.
