E3 2018 brought the announcement of Dontnod’s latest expansion for the Life is Strange universe, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. Following the announcement, Dontnod was quick to point out that choices in the next game carry over and affect Life is Strange 2, but the question that came from this was: How long until Life is Strange 2?
It turns out it is closer then we thought.
In a message through Twitter, Dontnod revealed that Life is Strange 2 is only a few months away with the first episode, which is set to be released on September 27. At this time very little is known, but the tweet does promise that Dontnod will share more details this August.

Like previous games in the Life is Strange universe, the sequel will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The season will run for five episodes akin to the original. We can expect new happenings and crazy situations alongside new key protagonists.
A quick trailer was also shown off that shows the Life is Strange logo being embroidered into a bag. It gives no other details on the game.
