Oh she leaves quite an impression… It appears that Fortnite‘s next big Icon skin, and their next headlining Fortnite Festival artist, could be pop princess Sabrina Carpenter. The rumour exploded over the last few days from just hearsay to having actual Sabrina-related assets spotted in game, as caught by many – including notable Fortnite leaker Shiina over on X (formerly Twitter). We’ve heard rumblings of Sabrina possibily being Fortnite‘s next big artist, but the addition of her signature love heart microphone cosmetic along with other hints seems to all but confirm the crossover.
Players dropping in Canyon Crossing will see the teases for themselves in-game, with a dance floor featuring Sabrina’s iconic kiss decal on the wall, a guitar and a red heart microphone all teasing her upcoming reveal. Sabrina is best known for her hits Espresso, Please, Please, Please and Taste; with her popularity blowing up last year after her Short ‘n’ Sweet album and its accompanying tour took the world by storm. In case you can’t tell, I’m a fan too! Sabrina Carpenter is expected to release in Fortnite on April 8, the same day that the current Hatsune Miku Fortnite Festival period will end.
Sabrina Carpenter is no stranger to a crossover, with her recently having an expansive Dunkin’ Donuts collaboration drink campaign, along with her receiving a dedicated Netflix Christmas special film. A Fortnite collaboration seems like a great next step for the pop star known for her fun, flirty and adventurous side. We absolutely can’t wait to see more, and we’ll be sure to report on the official reveal and first look when they inevitably drop soon.
