Indie game developers share their work progress every week on Twitter with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. In this piece, we take a look at the most interesting and eye-catching screenshots or short videos of indie games shared on Saturday, February 6.
Lost Lantern
This creepy yet beautiful art, is the perfect way for us to get to know Lost Lantern. The developer (@SkyaneDev) revealed their game with this tweet, and we are intrigued to see where this project will lead to!
Super Zoo Story
There were a lot of fascinating screenshots shared this week that showcased the design process of different games, and this short gif from Super Zoo Story was one of the greatest ones. The game’s twitter page (@Super_Zoo_Story) shared this tweet and revealed the different stages of designing a lovely bar for the game.
Ring of Pain
Another fantastic sample of the design process was shared by Ring of Pain‘s twitter (@RingOfPain) in this tweet. The transition of the sketch into the final art looks amazing, and we can’t wait to see more of this game.
Existensis
For old readers of our Screenshot Saturday round-ups, this title might look familiar. We had to feature Existensis (@ExistensisO) again for this beautiful video that they shared in this tweet. It’s exciting to see the hand-drawn art turn into a full fledged game, and it makes us even more excited for the title!
Year In The Trees
As the developer of Year In The Trees (@lunoland) said in this tweet, they have spent a lot of time to make this piece of pixel art as gorgeous and as detailed as possible, and we really appreciate it! We’re looking forward to seeing more of this beautiful world in the following weeks!
