A new Rise of the Skywalker trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2 jumped in from hyperspace this morning. Coming December 17, fans will receive a free update centered around the upcoming movie, bringing a new jungle location, reinforcement classes, and hero appearances.
The new trailer displays an explosive battle on the new elusive jungle planet (which, if you're a long-time fan of the series, you can probably imagine what this planet is). This new location is set to release on December 20, after the premiere of the film. Shots of Finn, Kylo, and Rei in their new outfits show off just how much these characters have changed since the sequel trilogy began. Ending the clip is a highlight reel of fan-favorite moments of the series.
Also new to the update is sequel era maps joining the Co-Op rotation, along with new reinforcement classes. The First Order will have the Infiltrator class Sith trooper and the Jet Trooper added to their ranks, while the Resistance joins up with new "Gunner" and "Spy" units. Sequel era locations are also planned to be included in the Capital Supremacy game mode in January. BB-8 and his dark-side equivalent, BB-9E, will join as support heroes in January as well.
