Game developer Ubisoft has announced that they will be doing their part to encourage social distancing efforts during the current global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. To motivate gamers to stay home, Ubisoft will be offering a month’s worth of goodies including discounts, special offers, and even free game trials.
Thanks to Ubisoft’s generosity, you can even score an entire game absolutely free! The quirky platformer Rayman: Legends is currently available for free download on PC using Ubisoft’s Uplay service. Rayman: Legends can be enjoyed together by up to four players, making it a great way to connect with your friends. This offer is only valid through April 3, so grab it while you can!
Also available for free download are the strategy game Might & Magic: Chess Royale and the educational title Rabbids Coding! A spokesperson for Ubisoft also mentioned the possibility of additional games being temporarily released for free, including titles from the popular Assassin’s Creed and Just Dance franchises. Keep an eye on the company’s website so you don’t miss any upcoming announcements!
Additionally, you can get free trials of many other exciting Ubisoft games on the same website. Currently available game trials available for free download include Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and The Division, open-world vehicle race The Crew 2, and the aptly named motorcycle racer Trials Rising. Some of these trials can be downloaded for consoles, including the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, as well as on PC via Uplay.
Keep your eyes and ears open for future exciting announcements from Ubisoft. The company has promised that the entire month of April will be filled with free games, discounts, and more. Ubisoft has also committed to supporting COVID-19 relief efforts in any way possible, including participating in benefit events such as Twitch Stream Aid.
