The official release date for the long-anticipated PC release of former PlayStation exclusive Stellar Blade has now been revealed, thanks to a blunder by Sony themselves. After accidentally posting then deleting the reveal trailer for Stellar Blade‘s PC launch, we now know that the action-adventure and dress-up game will be coming to PC on June 11! The game was incredibly popular on PlayStation after it launched, and now an entire new audience of gamers get to try it out.
The premature Stellar Blade trailer also gave us some key features to expect on PC. These include higher resolution textures than on console, supported with AI upscaling using either DLSS 4 or AMD FSR 3 with an unlocked frame rate, along with ultra-wide support for those who game large from 5:4 to 32:9 and full DualSense controller support. If those tech features aren’t enough, then players who opt for the PC port on launch will also be treated with new in-game content such as a boss battle and 25 new costumes.
The new content will also be available on PS5 on the same June 11 release date, along with the new Complete Edition available on both PS5 and PC which comes with the additional DLC packs, one in collaboration with NieR: Automata and the other with Goddess of Victory: Nikke. It’s great to see Sony allowing the porting of more of their releases to PC from PS5, something we know is a key aspect of their business strategy moving forwards.
