Microsoft will launch a range of official console wraps for the Xbox Series X, with designs inspired by soon-to-be-launched space RPG Starfield. The console wraps are expected to go on sale throughout Europe, the US, and Canada in October 2023. The wraps are described by Microsoft as “bold designs” made from “solid panels and an engineered fabric” that offers “a precision fit” for the next-gen console.
The interior wrap consists of a “soft, silicone print material” that perfectly encases the console and will be “fastened by a Velcro enclosure,” meaning no extra tools or adhesives will be required. Xbox users can go one step further and wrap their controllers to match the consoles (for a separate fee).
The two designs will be released in the UK on November 10, 2023, but are available for pre-order at the time of writing. The first of them, Starfield, will be available for £44.99, while Mineral Camo is available for £39.99. The mineral camo is pictured below.
The Mineral and Arctic Camo wraps, will be released in the US on October 18, 2023 for $44.99, while the Starfield wrap will cost you $49.99.
During the recent Xbox showcase in June, limited edition Starfield controllers and headsets were unveiled. These console wraps will make perfect additions alongside these accessories for those wanting to complete the ultimate Starfield-themed look set-up ahead of September.
Developed and published by Bethesda, Starfield is expected to land on Xbox and PC on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Stay with GameLuster for more gaming news of the Starfield variety. Will you be purchasing a console wrap for your Xbox Series console? Let us know!
