The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s world is twelve times bigger then Twilight Princess

Since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s debut back in 2014 many have wondered about the true scale of the games open world. Distinctly we remember Aonuma’s comments on being able to go anywhere that we can see which offered a lot of promise from Nintendo, given the far ranges this was exciting. So just how big is Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s world, to answer this you must think of the huge open ranges of Twilight Princess, and then times that by twelve according to Nintendo, and this makes a huge world full of reasons to explore.

Nintendo has also shared that the game demo that they have at E3 is only showing 1% of the games total size which is really impressive. This does breed concern however that the world is open for the sake of being open and that the story will provide little drive and motivation, and many of us will just get bored and walk away pretty quickly.
