The new God of War brings a new voice for Kratos

For the next installment in the God of War franchise Sony will going in a whole new direction, not only will the game move from away from the Greek Mythology that made up the Playstation 3 games, but it will now move more to Norse Mythology. Yet this is not all, with the new game we are seeing something of a new Kratos, the character does not seem so angry anymore, and has developed a lot more humanity and a son. So with this new Kratos we will also be seeing a new voice for the character to show the change in direction.

Kratos former voice TC Carson has moved on from the character revealing he would not be reprising the role, where he stated a simple “I am not,” which he revealed through Twitter, he then shared that “Sony went in a new direction. let em know what you think.”

So who is going to take on the mantle of the iconic character, it has been revealed that Christopher Judge will lend his voice to this new Kratos.

For those unfamiliar with his work, Judge is known for playing Teal’c in Stargate SG-1, and this change was revealed during Sony’s livestream when he appeared on stage.
