Not only do Castlevania fans get the release of a Dead by Daylight crossover today, but it was just revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct that the Castlevania Dominus Collection will be bringing three Castlevania Nintendo DS games to the Nintendo Switch for the first time. This collection shadowdrops today, and is available to purchase now on the Nintendo eShop.
This collection is sure to be a hit with Castlevania fans, as it brings Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, the continuation of Soma’s story from Aria of Sorrow, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin which gives the player two heroes to control, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia in which the mysterious Shanoa must take down Dracula once and for all. Not only are these great games to return to as a fan of the series, but both Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin make great jumping on points for those new to the franchise.
That’s not all though, as the Castlevania Dominus Collection will also come with a redesigned and reimagined version of Haunted Castle, the first ever Castlevania arcade game now playable at home! The Castlevania Dominus Collection features many quality of life improvements for the DS games, allowing them to be controlled and interacted with without the formerly mandatory motion controls, along with brand new art in the gallery, quick save functionality, rewind features and more.
