Watch Dogs 2 has been officially announced

Living up to their promise Ubisoft has officially announced the sequel to their 2014 title Watch Dogs, hopefully with the intent of fixing the first games issues. Watch Dogs 2 has been confirmed to be moving on from the original games setting of Chicago and instead will take us to Ubisoft’s recreation of San Francisco, which interestingly they will also include parts of Oakland, and even Silicon Valley which I think it quite fitting for the type of game Watch Dogs 2 is sure to be.

Watch Dogs 2 moves us away from the games original playable character Aiden Pierce, and instead will focus on a new anti-hero Marcus Holliway. This character does not seem like he is as revenge driven as Aiden, and instead faces a case of mistaken identity after being incorrectly identified by the ctOS 2.0, this will likely lead us more on our adventure. Marcus has a good ability when it comes to parkour and should be easier to manage then Aiden ever was, adding a new dynamic to the game.

Watch Dogs 2 will arrive on November 15th of this year, and will be coming to the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the reveal trailer below:
