Xbox Taking Fan Suggestions For New Space Jam Game

Xbox has recently announced that they are developing a game based on the upcoming film Space Jam: A New Legacy – and they’re asking fans for input.

A New Legacy, which is the sequel to the classic 1996 film Space Jam, is currently scheduled for release in July 2021. It will star professional basketball player LeBron James as he embarks on a digital adventure alongside classic Looney Tunes characters including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Marvin the Martian, Lola Bunny, and more. The film will center around James and his son Dom (played by Ceyair J. Wright) as they put their basketball skills to the test alongside a team of Toons. The film will also feature Don Cheadle, best known for his role as War Machine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, as the villainous computer AI-G.

Xbox plans to release the tie-in game, which has been described as “arcade style,” via Xbox Game Pass in June, one month prior to the film’s release. Fans can enter the contest on the game’s official website. To enter, first choose a combination of genres from the provided options – which include “tactical adventure”, “arcade shooter”, “puzzle action” and more – and then write up a 500 word pitch describing your idea for the game.

Two lucky winners will see their ideas incorporated into the final version of the game. Their names will also appear in the game’s credits. In addition, winners will receive exclusive signed LeBron James merchandise, an Xbox Series S console, and an invitation to a private screening of the film.
