When I thought the days of reporting news about video game universes entering other mediums was behind me,Ubisoft changes that.
Ubiosft has made an announcement that they have partnered with board game creator Cryptozoic Entertainment to make an tabletop game based on the Assassin’s Creed universe. Known as Assassin’s Creed Arena, it is described to play a like a “cat-and-mouse game that pits 2-4 players in an race for kills”.
Ubiosft’s own Anne Lewis admitted that those entering the table-top genre will be “overwhelmed” by the number of crazy rules and guidelines of the new board game. To help those that are interested, she has written a short guide on how to play over at Ubisoft’s Blog.
For those that interested in the new board game,the game is set to release on Februrary 26th for a whopping 50 dollars.Pretty pricey if you ask me;you can buy a game,goat,or fifty sodas at McDonald’s for that amount of money.
