It’s Pokemon season and everyone is celebrating, not only is Splatoon’s next Splatfest focused around Pokemon, but Nintendo is also celebrating with Super Mario Maker and a new event course. The new course is all about the original trio of Pokemon Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur who will be available upon completion of the course as costumes usable through Mystery Mushrooms.
You will need to beat the course three times to unlock all the costumes as each will be unlocked only if you finish with the respective costume on. Each costume features sound effects from the original Pokémon games on Game Boy, including each critter’s iconic screech, a first for Pokémon costumes in Super Mario Maker.
