The Pokemon series has been an eternal struggle of which version should I get, for some of us it was a case of just get both, but for others it was a matter of Diamond or Pearl, Ruby or Sapphire, Black or White, X or Y, and more importantly Red or Blue. When the series first began we were forced to make the tough decision, were we getting a cool looking turtle, or a dragon creature, this decision was surprisingly big and really forced players to become decisive. Now you can get ready to relive the decision and decide which team you play for in the upcoming Splatoon Splatfest.
I believe this Splatfest is a worldwide event, however a key difference will be Japan’s being Green vs Red as they were the original games. The Pokémon Red vs. Pokémon Blue Splatfest starts February 19 at 10:00 PM PT and will run until February 20 at 10:00 PM PT.
In the end who cares about the Pokemon themselves, I say pick your favorite color so go Pokemon Blue.
