It’s time for May’s PlayStation Plus catalog update, where subscribers to the higher levelled tiers of the PlayStation Plus subscription service get access to more games with their plan, and every now and then we lose some too. Sony has announced over on the PlayStation Blog the next batch of games that PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium players will get their hands on starting May 20, so let’s break them down for you right now.
Perhaps the biggest game featured this month is Battlefield V, a PS4 title that explores World War II, following on from its World War I-themed predecessor Battlefield 1. Along with its gigantic Grand Operations online battles, there’s also Firestorm, Battlefield‘s answer to the Battle Royale craze. Another noteworthy title we need to highlight is Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition, an anthology of minigames based on the horror franchise that expands onto the lore of the iconic universe, soon set to feature in Dead by Daylight! The Full Time Edition included for PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers is the PS5 exclusive version that adds new DLC content too.
Here’s the full list of PlayStation Plus games coming to Extra and Premium subscribers this month on May 20. There’s only one game exclusive for Premium subscribers, which we’ve marked at the end:
