Bit Kid’s Chasm to Finally Debut in July

Bit Kid announced yesterday their game, Chasm, is releasing on July 31, 2018 for PS4, PS Vita, and PC.

Bit Kid, once called Discord Games, has been developing Chasm for nearly six years. The small game studio was able to gain funding through Kickstarter back in 2013 and has been working on the game since 2012.

The story follows a newly recruited Guildean Knight looking to make a name for himself by restoring peace to a small mining town. The town, which is vital to the kingdom of Guildean, is overrun with monsters that have kidnapped the townspeople.

Chasm is a side-scrolling Metroidvania. The game looks to also have someGhouls ‘n Goblins added into the mix, but feel free to watch the gameplay trailer below and decide for yourself.

Chasm is priced at $19.99 and will be available in the PlayStation store and Steam. The PlayStation versions are also cross-buy compatible.
