The alpha for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available to preload on the PS4 today. It’ll go live tomorrow at 6pm GMT (September 18), and conclude on September 20 (this Sunday). Serving as a multiplayer alpha, it contains three 6v6 modes on two maps, including Domination, and 12v12 Combined Arms.
The alpha will be free for all PS4 players without the need for a subscription to PlayStation Plus, and is also PS4-exclusive, thanks to Activision’s partnership with Sony. Check out the alpha trailer below.

In other promising news, according to a job posting from Activision (since filled), a mobile version of Warzone (abbreviated to WZM) may be on the way soon. The posting requested an executive producer for features. The successful applicant would “own product framing and player experience of a new AAA mobile FPS in the Call of Duty franchise,”
Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released on November 13, 2020, across the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
