Four Minutes Of Black Ops Cold War Gameplay Action Released

Four exclusive minutes of gameplay from the upcoming Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War have been released on YouTube. Set in Turkey, the heart of the action occurs on the Trabzon Airfield, and there’s plenty of effort.

The mission is to positively identify and take down a target by the name of Arash. The target is successfully identified but less successfully taken out of action. A firefight ensues with a dramatic chase culminating in the use of an RC-XD an exploding plane.

The official teaser can be seen below, titled ‘Nowhere Left To Run.’ The most notable moments from this gameplay is the Matrix-style slow-motion sniper shot, which is tracked through the air and hitting a target, as well as the stealthy RC-XD, is let loose on the runway to steer beneath the plane and detonate.

It’s pretty breathtaking to watch, and the graphics look dazzlingly sharp. If this doesn’t have you sold on buying the game, it certainly has for me.

Starting next month, the Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta will go live across two exclusive weekends. From October 8, early access to the beta will be granted for all pre-orders on the PS4, with standard open beta access going live on the PS4 for everyone else from October 10. On October 12, the first weekend will conclude.

Then there’s cross-play, running from October 15 to 19. The open beta resumes with early access on Xbox and PC pre-orders, followed by open beta access to all platforms on October 17.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is due for release on November 13, 2020. Black Ops Cold War is a direct sequel to 2010’s Black Ops, bridging the narrative gaps between the first and second games.
