A new trailer for the latest zombies map, Firebase Z, added to Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been unveiled, and it’s zombies galore indeed. Set in 1984, the trailer gives us a gargantuan, undead beast of some kind shootings lasers from its head, the ability to portal hop between locations, including a villa and military base, and hordes of zombies running amok. To counteract the threat, the free update will provide you with an arsenal of weaponry to dispense of the armies.
According to the trailer’s description, Requiem’s latest mission takes them into the jungles of Vietnam. Under the command of Grigori Weaver, the team are tasked with uncovering the secrets of Outpost 25 and “face the threat that “lives” within to save Samantha Maxis.”

The events of this latest update follow the destruction of the “Projekt Endstation” site in Poland, where Requiem is investigating the Dark Aether anomaly, according to Treyarch’s description. The current storyline was first established in the base game’s Die Maschine map.
Early screenshots and gameplay from Firebase Z were leaked, as previously reported by Gameluster, with the trailer now confirming a new Perk machine providing players bonuses and stat boosts if activated.
Treyarch recently confirmed that the Dark Aether story would continue in Black Ops Cold War’s first season from February 4, free for all across all platforms. The new map succeeds the previous, Die Maschine (adapted from the classic World At War), which was launched with Black Ops Cold War last November.
Raven Software recently unveiled two nerf updates for overpowered weaponry within Warzone, including the notoriously lethal DMR 14.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is out now and is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
