Free games are always great—who doesn’t love free games? If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, then we’ve got some good news. According to the official PlayStation blog, Sonic Mania and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will be free to download on June 4.
So if you’re excited for Borderlands 3, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is your first free game in June. This collection features remastered versions of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, both being four-player co-op FPS RPG games, with plenty of loot, quests, bosses, and plenty of other reasons to keep you busy. If you played either game on the PS3, you’ll also be able to import those saves across to the PS4 and pick up where you last played on PS3. So tell your friends and get that squad together to hunt some vaults.
The second free game for June is Sonic Mania. A throwback to older Sonic 2D games, it’s an old-school throwback with Sonic, running, spinning, and bouncing across 12 levels all drawing inspiration from the Sega Genesis days. It’s even developed by long-time fans of Sonic.
All-in-all, June is going to be an action-packed month. Get your free games, kids, because free stuff is the best kind of stuff.
