Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is now available for purchase on PlayStation 4, and pre-purchase on other platforms. As well as the complete remastered campaign, Modern Warfare 2 comes with high definition visuals, (up to 4K), plus HDR support for the console.
Furthermore, there’s the uncapped frame rate and ultrawide monitor support on PC. Activision’s Remastered edition has improved features within the game right across the board, including texture resolution and detail, as well as updated animation and remastered audio.
So far, it is just Modern Warfare 2’s iconic single-player that is available, which sees players take on the role of Task Force 141 and Tier 1 Operatives, with infamous missions such as ‘“Cliffhanger,” “Takedown, and the brutal “No Russian”.
Players who purchase Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered on PlayStation will also receive the Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle. More still, there’s the UDT Ghost Operator skin. Some will note this was inspired by the ‘The Only Easy Day…Was Yesterday’ mission.
Players will also receive two-weapon blueprints, charm, a new finishing move, a voice quip, an animated calling card, an emblem, and a couple of Battle Pass tier skips. These can be acquired right now in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, as well as the Battle Royale Mode, Warzone. This special offer also applies to the pre-purchase of Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered across other platforms.
