It’s a big day for fans of Enshrouded, as the new huge content update for the survival RPG – titled Melodies of the Mire – is out now! The update introduces The Blackmire, a new sub-biome far to the north of Revelwood, with some seriously overgrown flora. Players will be able to explore these giant trees and the surrounding lands, all while completing new quests, making new furniture with new materials, and completing new gameplay challenges.
The new update also includes a host of changes to make playing with friends more fun, such as the ability to play musical instruments to buff the duration of the rested status, a new vanity system to serve looks while exploring The Blackmire, and a bunch of quality of life improvements such as displaying character names in multiplayer and on tombstones, along with the ability to name altars and bases.
That’s not all though, as there’s one other highly requested addition coming to Enshrouded this update. Starting with the Melodies of the Mire update, Enshrouded players will be able to complete Embervale quests individually in multiplayer! If your friends have already finished quests on other servers, you can now catch up with a ‘missed quests’ section in the journal to toggle on and complete, either solo or with your friends.
