Famitsu: Stellar Blade Crosses 90,000 Sales In Third Week At #1

Every Thursday we share the weekly Famitsu sales charts, which tracks physical boxed game sales and hardware sales in Japan. This week’s chart covers May 13 – 19, as Stellar Blade once again keeps the top spot to itself! This marks the third week that Shift Up’s Stellar Blade has taken #1 on the Famitsu sales chart, selling almost 11,000 additional copies, bringing its total so far to just over 91,000 units sold.

The rest of the software chart is somewhat unremarkable this week, as it’s just a wall of recent and evergreen Nintendo Switch titles. Ring Fit Adventure leads the pack with a surprising 10,000 copies sold, followed by the unshakeable Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and the best-selling Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Stellar Blade’s success is a refreshing change of pace, giving the PS5 a top-charting game for three weeks.
