Famitsu: Stellar Blade Shines At #1 For Second Week

Every Thursday we share the weekly Famitsu sales charts, which tracks physical boxed game sales and hardware sales in Japan. This week’s chart covers May 6 – 12, as Stellar Blade has a stellar hold of the top spot. The epic action-adventure from Shift Up managed to sell over 13,000 units this week, giving it a solid lead over second place, and evergreen charts darling, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Combined with last week’s sales, Stellar Blade has now crossed over 80,000 copies in Japan with just its physical release. There’s no word yet on how the game is performing digitally, but we’re sure to get official word on global sales at some point. There are no new entries on the chart this week, and the Nintendo Switch dominates both game sales and hardware sales.
