Fortnite Llama-Rama 2021 To Feature Kaskade Concert

As part of the Llama-Rama crossover event between battle royale Fortnite and “vehicular soccer” title Rocket League, DJ Kaskade will be performing on Fortnite’s Party Royale island. Kaskade, who has been collaborating with Rocket League since 2017, will perform tracks from his newest EP, which is titled Reset.

Kaskade joins the increasingly high number of musicians and performers which have hosted virtual concerts in Fortnite since the debut of Party Royale. The “chill” island, where players do not have to battle against one another, has hosted movie screenings, dance parties, and performances from Marshmello, Deadmau5, and Travis Scott. Scott reported that the Fortnite concert was one of his most successful, earning a total of 20 million dollars.

The Llama-Rama crossover event allows players to complete challenges in Rocket League in order to earn exclusive cosmetics inspired by Fortnite’s llama mascot. The event was extended alongside Rocket League’s current season, which is the second since the game transitioned to a free-to-play model. Originally intended to conclude in early March, Rocket League Season 2 will instead conclude at the end of the month.

The second season of Rocket League had a musical theme, highlighting artists such as Kaskade who have collaborated with the game. The theme of the upcoming third season has not yet been announced, although fan speculation regarding what it might be has begun online.

Kaskade’s concert will take place on Friday, March 26 at 8PM ET on the main stage of Party Royale Island. Two follow-up concerts will be held on Saturday, March 27 at 9AM ET and 2PM ET. The event will be free to attend, although a Fortnite account is required to participate.

Have you been enjoying Llama-Rama? Which cool cosmetics have you earned in Rocket League? What other musical artists would you like to see perform in future Fortnite concerts? Let us know!
