Fortnite Teasers Reveal Post-Apocalyptic Theme For Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked

It’s almost time for a new season of the iconic battle royale game Fortnite, and after a bunch of new teasers, it’s safe to say the theme of the next season is becoming increasingly clear. After a Fallout collaboration was revealed it felt all but guaranteed the next season, known as ‘Wrecked’, would be post-apocalyptic. After a new teaser image was released today, that theory seems even more plausible.

The latest image shows a rough-looking (and incredibly cool) character’s silhouette looming over the ‘Nitrodrome’. Whilst not an official collaboration, the image just screams Borderlands, from the character design to the location name. It seems pretty certain at this point that, however the current Fortnite season ends, we’re heading for an apocalypse – and this character seems like a battle pass skin.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Wrecked Fallout Teaser
After the release of the hit Prime Video series, Fallout is heading for the Fortnite island with its latest season.

Adding to this theme, a video was released yesterday from a ‘Monster Jam’ Monster Truck sporting event, which showed the Fortnite battle bus being crushed by a monster truck, along with the caption “might be a new bus in town”. Fans expect this to hint at the arrival of a new battle bus for the next Fortnite season, perhaps something resembling the armored battle bus, which would be an essential in a post-apocalyptic wasteland-themed Fortnite island!
