The battle pass skins that will be included in the upcoming Fortnite Galactic Battle season, a collaboration with Star Wars, have officially been revealed in a new poster. Shared via official Fortnite social media, the Battle Pass is set to include Emperor Palpatine, Poe Dameron, a Wookie-themed reskin of Cuddle Team Leader, a customizable Jedi/Sith Evie – and the long-requested General Grievous. A fine addition to our collection.
This is an exciting Battle Pass for both Fortnite and Star Wars fans, as the character selection choice seems to give something for everyone. Evie is a fan-favorite original Fortnite character, so seeing her return with new outfit options is good for those who like Fortnite original offerings. Meanwhile, Grievous is quite a popular, but far less spotlighted character in the Star Wars franchise, so it’s fun he’ll be available in the Battle Pass along with the legendary Emperor Palpatine, without being additional store purchases. The lightsabers being held in the poster does also make us hope they’re pickaxes this time around, but we’ll know for sure when the season drops next week.
As we’ve now seen the Battle Pass line-up, it may be fair to assume the other skins we’ve already seen such as Darth Jar Jar Binks, Mace Windu, a customizable Mandalorian and Captain Phasma will be item shop purchases. This isn’t guaranteed, perhaps one or more could still be available in the Battle Pass and just not included in the poster, but it’s probably a safe assumption to make for now.
