Get Fit to the Beat With Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise

This fitness-focused (and fun!) announcement came during today’s all-digital Partner Showcase event featuring brand new titles coming to the Nintendo Switch console. Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise, the sequel to the original 2018 Switch title, will be arriving just in time for the holiday season 2020.

Fitness Boxing 2 will take inspiration from similar rhythm- and movement-focused titles such as the Just Dance series. Choose from 66 courses and over 20 different songs to customize your perfect workout. Players will have to time their moves to the beat as they learn about jabs, sways, steps, and other classic boxing moves.

Rhythm and Exercise will feature the return of all six instructors featured in the original Fitness Boxing, each with their own distinct (and supportive!) personality and customizable action selection. Plus, three new instructors — Janice, Hiro, and Karen — will be added to the game for an all-new workout experience.

Additional features will make Fitness Boxing 2 more fun and accessible than ever before. A new two-player mode will allow you to work out alongside your friends and family members from the comfort of your very own home. You can even set alarms to remind yourself when to start your workout. If certain moves aren’t fun or are difficult for you to perform, you can disable them in an all-new menu. Finally, you can export saved personal data from the original Fitness Boxing to Fitness Boxing 2 to continue tracking your growth and progress.

Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise will be released only for the Nintendo Switch on December 4, 2020. Pre-orders are available now. With gyms closed for the foreseeable future, why not grab your copy now and get working out from the comfort of your living room?
