It appears we could be seeing two more classic games arrive on the Wii U eShop before long, thanks to the Australian Classification Board it would seem that the classic games Hogan’s Alley as well as Dig Dug 2 will be coming soon as a new rating appearing on the database implies. We don’t know much else about the possibilities for the games release, however, should they be coming soon I imagine that a Wii U eShop release would be the plan. Though what is interesting with these new ratings is not Dig Dug 2, it is actually Hogan’s Alley that I find to be the most intriguing game to come of this news, interestingly Hogan’s Alley works in the same vein as Duck Hunt using the now dysfunctional Light Gun peripheral for its gameplay. Should they be bringing Hogan’s Alley to the Wii U eShop it would need to be completely reworked and use the Wii remote to make up for its lightgun features. No release plans have been announced just yet but I will try to keep up to date on these games.
About Simon Smith
Hi, I am Simon Smith, I am an avid video game fan and love to talk about and discuss games, which is what brought me here. I have been writing about games since 2012, mostly I enjoy spending my time writing about the Nintendo Switch but I also enjoy the 3DS as well as the Playstation 4. These days I cover most things from news, to reviews (I always have something in the works) to random pointless opinion pieces.read more
