Is Modern Warfare & Warzone Season 6 Beginning September 29?

According to a post from Charlie Intel, the date for Season 6 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone may have just been confirmed. A Call Of Duty League team, Minnesota ROKKR, tweeted an event for CDL Pros and content creators ahead of the sixth season. If proven correct, Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone will begin on Tuesday, September 29.

Recently, there’s been a string of rumors and leaks connected to the Call Of Duty franchise, from the Black Ops Cold War beta dates and the multiplayer gameplay, and on both occasions, they’d come true. Once again, this latest rumor could be purely speculative, and Activision may later announce an entirely different date. Still, it’d have been nearly two months since Season 5 launched in August, and with their track record of late.

In terms of the specifics for Season 6, it’s anyone guess, but there’ll likely be an arsenal of new weaponry to play with, operators, and a handful of maps and modes to explore once the season goes live.

A now-closed job vacancy from Activision appeared to suggest the arrival for Call Of Duty: Warzone on mobile. The listing requested a features executive producer to “own product framing and player experience of a new AAA mobile FPS in the Call of Duty franchise.”

Starting next month, the Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta will go live across two exclusive weekends. From October 8, early access to the beta will be granted for all pre-orders on the PS4, with standard open beta access going live on the PS4 for everyone else from October 10. On October 12, the first weekend will conclude.

Then there’s cross-play, running from October 15 to 19. The open beta resumes with early access on Xbox and PC pre-orders, followed by open beta access to all platforms on October 17.
