Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Sells One Million Copies In 24 Hours

The game only just launched yesterday, but developer Warhorse Studios has announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has already sold one million copies. This is a huge feat, but even more impressive when considering the fact that the first title took almost two weeks to sell the same amount. This shows some seriously impressive growth for the Kingdom Come franchise, and it’s a promising sign for the future of the series.

Whilst Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is off to an impressive start, it does leave us wondering exactly how far the game will reach now with such a giant boost from day one. Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the first game in the series, has sold eight million units globally since its release way back in February of 2018. The trajectory of the sales catapult put into place by the sequel suggests that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II may be much quicker to cross that eight million figure of its predecessor.

The world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II takes players to the Kingdom of Bohemia for a slice of medieval life.

It helps that not only is the game selling, but response from players is looking very positive. The Steam page for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II sits at a 92% positive user review score in just one day since its release, whilst its Metacritic page is currently sitting at 88. The positive feedback and the huge sales numbers show a bright start to the medieval RPG, and we’re very curious to see exactly how far this success will go for the series.
