KPop Demon Hunters Heading To Fortnite This Week

It’s our moment, as the KPop Demon Hunters collaboration with Fortnite is officially set to begin on October 2 – that’s later this week on Thursday! Epic seem to have gone full-throttle when it comes to turning around a collaboration with Netflix and Sony’s record-breaking animated movie, with both cosmetics and a limited-time game mode coming to Fortnite, along with another surprise for map creators. It feels like only yesterday we reported on the rumblings of a potential crossover, and it’s very exciting to see we’re already here.

Starting October 2, the leading ladies of the fictional K-pop girl group Huntrix will be making their grand Fortnite debut with skins for each character, along with emotes and more for fans to drop their hard-earned (or purchased) V-Bucks on. You can then use your Huntrix skins in any of Fortnite‘s many game modes – including the new Demon Rush mode! Seemingly a reskin of the Horde Rush mode, it’s up to us to push back waves of demons, seal the Honmoon, and save the world in the process.

As if that wasn’t enough, the well-known Fortnite insider HypeX, who’s also the source for the collaboration release date, confirmed KPop Demon Hunters will be collaborating with UEFN too. This means those who create Fortnite maps will be able to use official KPop Demon Hunters assets provided by Netflix in their creations. This will allow for fans to take their love for the animated movie beyond the official Demon Rush mode, and into other, creator-made experiences too.
