Lara Croft Is Coming To Call of Duty In New Update

The worlds of Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft and Call of Duty are set to crossover as part of a new content update for Warzone Season 5: Reloaded. The update went live at 9AM PT across all platforms yesterday (August 30) on Modern Warfare II and Warzone. A wave of new operators will join the update, bringing the operator roster up to ten.

Recently, the game introduced some of hip-hop’s most iconic figures, including Nicki Minaj, Savage 21 and Snoop Dogg. Now, it’s time to bring in a character with adventure in their blood. Lara Croft will be available as a Store Bundle Operator from September 9. She is described as a “legendary adventurer, famous archeologist, and ultimate expert in the fields of archery, dual pistols, and other small-arms combat.”

It makes Croft the perfect operator to drop in for a fight, and she’s coming locked and loaded courtesy of The Tracer Pack: Tomb Raider Bundle. The set includes the blueprints for three exclusive weapons.

We have a melee weapon called “Ice Axe,” the “Mythic Defender” SMG, and Croft’s signature “Mach-5” dual pistols. The pistols will also serve as her weapon of choice for the “Play for Sport” finishing move. The Bundle will also come with the “Tomb Buggy” Vehicle Skin for the Chop Top, a Loading Screen, a Sticker, and Emblem.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will launch on Friday, November 10, 2023 across the PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Series consoles, and PC.

The Modern Warfare III beta is coming in October, and our man Bobby has outlined the details of when players can drop in.
