Deadpool is coming to Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The merc with the mouth, otherwise known as Wade Wilson, will debut on January 26, 2022 (next Thursday), across the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Deadpool’s inclusion into the game comes as part of The Good, the Bad, and the Undead update. Players who own a season pass or the Legendary Edition of Marvel’s Midnight Suns can download the DLC for free.
Everyone else will need to buy the DLC as a standalone upgrade. The Good, the Bad, and the Undead is the first DLC since Midnight Suns launched in December 2022. The developers have dropped a trailer, seen below, which shows the wise-cracking superhero causing chaos and running through portals while attempting not to be sick after a battle.
Deadpool drops into the scene with two semiautomatic pistols, dual katanas, and frag grenades. Paired with his ability to heal, ninja kicks, an endless supply of quips, and En Fuego resource, these weapons make him the ideal partner you’d want by your side in battle.
The DLC will deliver new attack and skill cards, new villains such as Madame Hydra, and an upgrade for the Abbey. The Abbey is an in-game location that serves as the hero base of operations for the Midnight Suns, and is located in a pocket dimension on the cliffs of Salem, Massachusetts. Deadpool’s upgrade is, of all things, a food truck. Because of course it is. The DLC also comes with new cosmetics, revealed just before Wade explains why players won’t see his face in the game. A lack of budget, apparently.
Developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is available on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Are you excited for Deadpool in Midnight Suns?
