The current season of Marvel Rivals is coming to a close, but Season 3 is almost here. A new cinematic trailer for the story content of Marvel Rivals Season 3 has just been shared, and it involves some fan theories we’ve been reporting on for a while finally coming true! Yes, the next two heroes coming to Marvel Rivals are officially confirmed as Blade and Jean Grey, known as her next-level powers as the Phoenix Force.
Season 3 gets a subtitle of ‘The Abyss Awakens’ thanks to emergence of Knull, God of the Symbiotes, along with Hela who acts as his herald. Thankfully though, the Phoenix Force in the body of Jean Grey has arrived with unlikely ally vampire hunter Blade, and their clash against the Symbiote God sets the stage for Season 3. Fans have long been begging for iconic X-Men Jean Grey to make her appearance, and we’re happy she’s finally here.
This is a story cinematic trailer so there isn’t much gameplay, but we do get some other small hints at what we can expect in Marvel Rivals Season 3 besides its two new heroes. The ending splash art shows new skins for Wolverine, Magik, and a Jeff the Land Shark skin that even infects him with the symbiote!
