A cinematic for the forthcoming Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone season has been released, featuring two familiar faces from the rebooted Modern Warfare campaign: Farah and Nikolai. The sixth season takes the fight underground, with the cinematic taking place in abandoned tunnels belonging to Zakhaev's people.
According to a blog post published by Activision, Farah and Karim uncover secrets connected to Mr. Z’s underground network and his operations within Verdansk. They return to “help long-time ally Captain Price with the ongoing conflict following the breakdown of the Armistice.”
Following the conclusion to the Modern Warfare campaign, Farah has joined the Chimera of the Allegiance. She’s reunited with her former scout, Iskra. Farah is unlockable from Tier 0 in the Season Six Battle Pass. Additional skins and awards can be earned through completing Farah’s Operator missions.
As for Nikolai, he is described as a “Russian patriot at heart with a deep love for his country only matched by his love for weaponry.”
Following the fall of the Armistice, the fixer “takes the battle in his own hands to stop Zakhaev.” You can find out more about the upcoming season in the video below.
He’s unlockable at Tier 100 of the Season Six Battle Pass, with rewards and skins available upon completion of his Operator Missions.
Elsewhere for Call of Duty fans, next month the Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta will be going live across two exclusive weekends. Commencing October 8, early access to the beta will be granted for all pre-orders on the PlayStation 4. Standard open beta access for everyone else on the PS4 begins from October 10, concluding October 12,
Then there’s cross-play, running from October 15 to 19. The open beta resumes with early access on Xbox and PC pre-orders, followed by open beta access to all platforms on October 17.
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone Season Six will launch on September 29.
