New The Division 2 Gameplay Revealed At E3

During Ubisoft’s conference today at E3, Julian Gerighty, creative director of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, presented more gameplay and information about the upcoming third-person shooter. A strain of the smallpox virus is released on dollar bills in New York City and spreads throughout the nation, as seen in the previous title. In the second game, the country is thrown into chaos as civilians in Washington, D.C. fight off dangerous factions to attempt rebuilding society. Washington is a new environment for the franchise as opposed to the previous title which took place in New York City.

Up until recently Ubisoft has been releasing updates for The Division. The Division 2 will also be introducing an all new raid mode in which eight people can partner up for the first time ever. Three DLCs will also be launched in the form of episodes with new stories, new areas to explore, and new activities. All three episodes will be free to download.

The game is set to be released on March 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can sign up for a chance to play a beta of The Division 2.
