When Nintendo announced their plans for E3 last week one of the things they made a big deal of was the return of the Nintendo World Championships. While we had no idea where they planned to run this event, we did know they planned to use Best Buy stores as part of it we just didn’t know which stores would support this. Now, the company has revealed which stores will be hosting the qualifying events.

Below is an overview of the qualifiers straight from Nintendo:

The qualifying competition will feature the Championship mode of the Ultimate NES Remix game for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. In this mode, players will take on a series of three score-based challenges in Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3 and Dr. Mario. Games and systems will be provided at each location, although Ultimate NES Remix is available now in stores and in the Nintendo eShop for anyone who wants to start practicing for the competition. The top scorer from each of the eight regional competitions will move on to the final event in Los Angeles, which will be a multi-round competition with a variety of Nintendo games. An additional eight competitors selected by Nintendo will also compete in the Nintendo World Championships 2015. Nintendo will reveal these competitors in the near future.

In order to enter the championships you will need to be 13 years or older. While the qualifiers run on My 30th, the actual event does not start until June 14th so there is plenty of time between. So if you wish to compete you better head down to a store near you on the allotted day and try your best to win and claim Nintendo glory, good luck to those who compete.
