During the E3 Nintendo Direct, more footage from Fire Emblem: Three Houses was shown. The trailer shows a class reunion five years later between the leaders of the Golden Deer, Blue Lions, and Black Eagles that ends in a war. It reveals older designs for the house leaders, as well as showing the protagonist unlocking a new power. What this power does was not shown.
This trailer is the first time players learned that part of the story will take place after the school setting.
