Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for the Wii U is now less then a month away from release and honestly I could not be anymore excited (is this a showing of the franchise, or is this a showing of just how weak this years Wii U lineup is? Who knows), and to capitalize on the event Nintendo has prepared a new trailer for the game that shows off an interesting new mode called Heroes Showdown.
In this mode you are tasked with taking sides, you must decide are you Team Sonic or Team Mario (can’t stand Twilight but could not handle placing in that pathetic reference), your teams are chosen at random and you compete across varying sports. The goal of this mode is for you to have the most team members left at the end of the game as each lost can cost you characters, honestly this mode looks pretty fun and could offer quite a steady competition for players. But rather then talk about you should watch the trailer for Heroes Showdown in all its crisp high definition glory:
I am really looking forward to getting hold of this game and trying this mode for myself, it does honestly look like it could be pretty good fun.
