We Now Know How to Spot a Shiny Pokemon in the Let’s Go Titles

We now know how to identify a shiny Pokemon in the upcoming Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee.

As reported by Dot Esports, shiny Pokemon will look like others that are found on the game’s map. However, a shiny Pokemon will feature a small glimmer and aura. Small star-like particles will appear above the monster, letting players know that it is a shiny. All they have to do is touch it before it disappears from the map, and then they will have an opportunity to catch it. This is the first confirmation that we have that shiny Pokemon will be catchable in the wild.

The Let’s Go titles were first revealed this past May. The games will be based off of Pokemon Yellow, and will take trainers back to the Kanto region. The titles can be played solo with a single Joy-Con, but a second controller can be given to a friend for couch co-op. This second player can help out in catching and battling Pokemon. A special Poke Ball peripheral will be available, which comes loaded with a Mew. The games are also compatible with Pokemon GO.

Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee will release on November 16th for the Nintendo Switch. The two titles were a part of our Top JRPG’s for the rest of 2018 article, which can be seen here.
