How to Complete The Runaways Side Story in Octopath Traveler 2
To begin this quest, you must head to Ku, Hikari’s hometown in the Hinoenuma region. At the horse stable next to the weapon shop, you will find a woman named Horse Lender, who needs assistance. Upon speaking with her, you will learn she has lost two horses and requires your help finding them.
To complete this quest, head to Oresrush in the Wildlands and locate the Ranch Owner. Interact with the Ranch Owner and Guide, Allure, Hire, or Befriend him to add to your party. Once you’ve successfully completed the interaction, return to the Horse Lender and introduce her to the Ranch Owner. The Ranch Owner will then offer her a position working in his stable. Moreover, he also assures her that if she gets her horses later on, she can keep them n that stable.
Once the cut scene concludes, the Runaways side quest will be successfully completed, and you will earn 20,000 Leaves and a Light Nut (M) for your efforts.
