A Young Girl’s Wish is a side story that players can encounter while exploring the world of Octopath Traveler 2. The story revolves around an Apathetic Girl who has been suffering from a debilitating illness. She is dying and essentially has a bucket list of things she’d like to experience before she goes.
The side story begins when the player encounters Apathetic Girl in the Graveyard of Conning Creek in the Harborlands. She is trying to live out her bucket list before her time runs out. Now it’s up to you to help her accomplish her dreams before it’s too late. Here is the list of wishes she wants to fulfill:
Wish 1: She wants to read the sequel to Adventures of an Apprentice Cleric:
She wants to read the sequel of her favorite novel series, Adventures of an Apprentice Cleric. In order to get information about this novel, head to Borderfall in the Crestlands and go inside the Church (the same place where you get the Cleric license). This is where you can find the Cleric Novelist on the left-hand side. Interact with this individual and use Osvald’s Scrutinize Path Action to get details regarding her upcoming project—the sequel to Adventures of an Apprentice Cleric.
Wish 2: She wants to eat a New Delsta Crepe
The New Delsta Crepe is an exquisitely delicious confection made in the city of New Delsta in the Brightlands. You can find the Crepe Maker next to the big mansion gate at this destination. Interact with him and choose between utilizing Throne’s Path Action to Steal or simply using Partitio to Purchase a Deluxe Crepe from him.
Wish 3: She wants to meet Roland, the floral designer
To fulfill your objective of meeting Roland, you must visit Timberain in Leaflands. Once there, you’ll need to find him near the Fountain located in the town square. Interact with him and Guide, Allure, Hire, or Befriend him to add him to your party.
Now return to the Apathetic Girl with all three items and present them to her. As a reward for fulfilling her dream and completing the “A Young Girl’s Wish” quest, you’ll obtain 15,000 Leaves, a Vest of Joy, and a Revitalizing Jam.
