In 2015 Ori and the Blind Forest was a real surprise, while it did grab attention when it was first revealed the sheer level of quality and polish was astounding and for the Xbox One as a console it truly was a defining game. From what I understand the main game was not even everything as extra content was released sort of justifying the upcoming Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition, originally this version was planned to be released by the end of 2015, but has been revealed by developer Moon Studios via Twitter that this release will not be met, instead fans will be getting their hands on the definitive release around Spring of 2016 (unless it gets pushed back again).
In a separate tweet, the developers have assured fans that the Definitive edition will be available for a discounted price for those who already purchased the game on its original release. The Definitive Edition will include new areas and game mechanics, along with some potential new abilities.
