Paradox Teases New Life Sim Game, Full Reveal March 20

Paradox Interactive have just teased a new life simulator game called Life By You at their 2023 Announcement Show. The game will be getting its own dedicated show on later this month on March 20, which is also when we can hopefully expect to hear when the game releases, and how we can play it.

Details are very scarce at the moment, with all we really have to go off being a teaser trailer. The trailer itself runs a little sluggish and fuzzy, but we can see some details. Two characters can be seen kissing with heart emoticons surrounding them, in a very The Sims style. We also see a car driving down a street, as well as the house-building in action.

The house-building seems very intuitive at first glimpse, with the floors of the house being removed one-by-one, and a visible building UI along the side. The floor is also seemingly tile-based with the grid lines, but we don’t know for sure if that means things are limited to tiles or not at this point.

If you, like us, want to know more, then be sure to tune into the March 20 reveal show over on the official YouTube channel for Life By You. The show will be hosted by Rod Humble, a figure known in the life-sim space for his work on The Sims 2 and The Sims 3

Also at the showcase, Paradox gave a big announcement with the highly anticipated Cities: Skylines II revealed, and a new turn-based tactics game from Harebrained Schemes. Be sure to check our our news coverage page here for all the details!
