Virtual Console games have a specific set of features which fans have come to love, the big one of these is the restore points which have been used across every game and have been helpful on multiple games. The upcoming release of Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow is highly anticipated on the 3DS virtual console but thanks to the Japanese digital manual for these games some interesting details about 3DS virtual console specific features have surfaced.
For the release of Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow it has been revealed that the restore point feature on the 3DS will not be used. This means that players will be unable to save at any point they want and instead will have to resort to traditional Pokemon game saving mechanics.
Additionally the virtual console menu will be inaccessible on the Virtual Console release, and if you want to access the home menu the games will have to be fully shut down.
