PowerWash Simulator Is Getting A Tomb Raider DLC

You read that right. Soon you’ll be able to hose down Croft Manor until it’s once again squeaky clean. Admittedly, giving Croft Manor a thorough scrub down may not be the first thing that comes to mind when joining Lara on her Tomb Raider adventures, but alas PowerWash Simulator is here to fill that void.

And you can’t complain when this unlikeliest of crossovers will be completely free! Dubbed the Tomb Raider Special Pack, the update will be coming to PowerWash Simulator on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch on Jan. 31.

Judging by the short reveal trailer, boy does Croft Manor need a little TLC! The mighty residence is covered in grime, from the artefact collection to the manor walls, vehicles and obstacle course – bringing back any OG Tomb raiding memories? Although most other times, cleaning down a massive manor house sounds like the furthest thing from a good time, we all know PowerWash Simulator is a totally different feeling. Even just watching the artefacts regain their sparkle is enough to say the update will be a satisfying one.

PowerWash Simulator‘s Steam page sheds more light on this crossover, noting that there will be a mini campaign, five new levels, and the mysterious “more.” While there’s not a huge amount of detail, PowerWash Simulator adds that they will “be sharing more info and teasers leading up to the launch” on their social channels. We loved the base game, giving it an 8/10 in our review.

Of the collaboration, Dan Chequer, Lead Designer at FuturLab, the studio behind PowerWash Simulator, says “we can’t wait for players to get up close and personal with Croft Manor and explore its many secrets!” What secrets players will be able to explore, will for now remain a mystery, until we can scrub up and return Croft Manor to its glamourous glory!
