The free PS Plus games for March 2022 have been announced. We begin with next-gen, and those with a PlayStation Plus subscription on the PS5 can claim their copy of Ghostrunner. Developed by Slipgate Ironworks and One More Level, the game was initially released across major platforms in October 2020, and the Nintendo Switch a month later. According to a post on the Playstation.Blog, Ghostrunner is described as an “intense, fast-paced first-person adventure.”
“Slice your enemies with a monomolecular katana, dodge bullets with your superhuman reflexes, and employ a variety of specialized techniques to prevail”, the description reads on.
Next, we move on to Ark: Survival Evolved, an MMO survival game that ditches players on a mysterious, desolate island. Players are required to craft items, scavenge resources, build shelters and take on prehistoric monsters. Ark: Survival Evolved launched in August 2017, available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, Android, and iOS.
If you seek something a tad more fast-paced, then Team Sonic Racing should do the trick. Developed by Sumo Digital and published by Sega, Team Sonic Racing was released across all major platforms throughout 2019. Take to the racetracks in a “thrilling, competitive style arcade racer.” Players can compete in multiplayer modes with their friends, and race “across stunning worlds and work together as a team by sharing power-ups and speed boosts.”
Finally, we come to the bonus game on offer this month, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. The standalone, cooperative multiplayer game allows players to choose between four different classes – Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin. Players can invite friends or take advantage of the game’s online matchmaking to fight across four respective game modes.
These titles will be available on PS Plus from March 1 to April 4. The current line-up of free PS Plus titles, EA Sports, UFC 4, and Planet Coaster: Console Edition will remain available on the platform until the end of February.
